Celebrating St. George's Day at St. James', Ince with our local uniformed groups

In readiness for St. George's Day on Monday 23rd April, we were pleased to welcome our local Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to St. James', Ince for a very special celebration service on Sunday 22nd April 2018.

St. George's Day Celebration Service: Sunday 22nd April

We were delighted to welcome our local Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to a special celebration service at St. James', Ince this morning. St. George (aka one of the Cubs!) even appeared to tackle a (sometimes) fierce dragon as we recounted the famous legend about the Patron Saint of England (and a few other countries too which we heard about!)

It was a particular pleasure to see a number of investitures take place with Beavers 'swimming up' to join Cubs and Assistant Section Leader Callum awarded his Wood Badge. Congratulations to all concerned.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this really lovely service - see the photographs below!
