Church Hall, Elton re-opens after major refurbishment project to toilet facilities

We are pleased to announce that the Church Hall, Elton has now re-opened following the completion of a major refurbishment and upgrading project to the toilet area facilities

Church Hall, Elton - open again after toilet refurbishment project!

Admittedly toilets aren't the most glamorous or religious of subjects but we are delighted to report the completion of our project to upgrade our facilities at the Church Hall, Elton.

Most importantly we are now able to offer disabled visitors an appropriate and accessible space. This also means stage two (stage one being the refurbishment of the kitchen) of our wider work on this building is complete.

We have received the news and a letter of thanks from the West Cheshire Foodbank that a total of 91.5kgs of food was donated from our Parish this year.

Remembrance Sunday 2018: Centenary of the Armistice marked in our villages

Acts of Remembrance have taken place in each of the villages in our Parish of Thornton-le-Moors with Ince and Elton on this most significant Remembrance Sunday, the centenary of the signing of the Armistice in 1918.
