Church with a difference! A report from 'Stepping Stones', February 2018!

Our new style monthly 'service' at the Church Hall, Elton was really enjoyable this month with plenty of hands on activities but time to reflect and enjoy the company of other regular and new members of our church community too!

Our Stepping Stones 'service' was really fantastic at the Church Hall, Elton this morning (Sunday 4th February, 2018). As you'll see from these photographs this isn't a run of the mill style church service - we do plenty of different activities.

This month we reflected on the theme 'Love Your Neighbour' by making 'Thinking of You' cards for birthdays and for residents of Thornton Manor Care Home together with heart shaped sun catchers. Many of us also learnt how to crochet from several experts! We will be making prayer shawls for people who are ill to demonstrate God's love and care for them. There was also lots of time for chatting, fellowship and reflection.

Stepping Stones meets every first Sunday of the month at 10.30am at the Church Hall, Elton. Why not give it a try?
