Gill Reeve and Tina Dixon ordained deacon in the Church of England

Our good friends, Gill Reeve and Tina Dixon, who spent some time with us as part of their training, have both been ordained deacon in the Church of England this summer.

Gill Reeve and Tina Dixon ordained deacon in June and July 2018

We are delighted that Gill Reeve and Tina Dixon have both been ordained deacon in the Church of England in the last couple of months. Both Gill and Tina spent some time with us during their training over the last year and played a very active part in many aspects of the life of our parish here in Thornton-le-Moors, Ince and Elton. It is wonderful to see them both move on to the next stage of their ministry.

Gill was ordained at Liverpool Cathedral on Sunday 24th June and Tina at Chester Cathedral on Sunday 22nd July. Please take a look at a couple of photographs of each and perhaps visit the respective Diocese of Liverpool and Diocese of Chester Facebook pages where there are many more. Links to both pages are here where you will then need to go to the 'Pictures' or 'Album' sections:
