We wish everyone who worships, lives, works and visits our parish a happy and blessed 2018!

At the start of 2018 we would like to wish everyone who has any connection with our parish a happy and blessed new year! Click on the article link below to see a few more images taken within our church over this first weekend of 2018.

Happy New Year 2018!

Whether you worship with us, live within the villages that make up our parish, work in the local area or just visit frequently or only occasionally, we would like to wish you a very happy and blessed new year, 2018. The images below were taken over this first weekend of the year on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th January. Cold weather outside but the first snowdrops of the season have appeared and bring with them the promise of spring and new life!

A special prayer for the new year:

God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

whose years never fail

and whose mercies are new each returning day:

let the radiance of your Spirit renew our lives,

warming our hearts and giving light to our minds;

that we may pass the coming year

in joyful obedience and firm faith;

through him who is the beginning and the end,

your Son, Christ our Lord,

who is alive and reigns with you,

in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

one God, now and for ever.

Amen.
